Mason, a resilient senior Boxer, inspired the creation of our sanctuary and our focus on the forgotten.

 Living in Melbourne with two Boxers and a Husky, we came across Mason’s photo on a euthanasia list. Within hours, he joined our family. His vet records showed a senior Boxer who had endured great hardship, and watching him heal and rediscover life changed everything. 

We sold everything, bought acreage via FaceTime during Covid, and moved to the country.  Mason thrived, and over the next 10 months, a sanctuary was born in his honour: a place built on the promise of safety and compassion.

Today, we focus on seniors, palliative cases, and animals who have endured neglect—those most often overlooked but most in need of love.

Mason passed from pancreatitis in 2022 and rests beneath the gum trees he inspired. His legacy lives on in every life we save.

 We hope to shine a light on older, fragile, and shy animals. They’re not giving up—they’re waiting for a safe place to land. Maybe that place is with you.
